Nepenthes aristolochioides x ventricosa

Nepenthes aristolochioides is known for its epic "tubbiness", and ventricosa is an easy-growing standard. When combined, they produce a cross with adorable splotched maroon lower pitchers. Uppers should display more intense, lighter coloration. 

The parent plant is BE-4227. Adding a heat pack to this item is recommended during winter temperatures. 

Nepenthes cuttings are well-established and potted in our house Nepenthes mix, the base of which is Besgrow moss. This moss is sustainably harvested in New Zealand. Other components are horticultural-grade perlite and orchid bark.
