Sarracenia Belly of Blood x Beachball - seed grown

These seed-grown plants are a few years old and displaying mature pitchers. Purpurea is characterized by squat rosetted pitchers whose lids (hoods) are open to the sky. Hoods may be ruffled and display intricate veining. This cross displays sensational coloration and hood shape. Purpurea hybrids are generally considered to be relatively cold-hardy, and may retain pitchers throughout dormant periods. 

Plants are grown outdoors and will be experiencing dormancy between Oct-March. Sarracenia are shipped in a 3" pot with a house mix comprised of peat moss and perlite.
