Darlingtonia ~ Cobra Lily

Also known as cobra lilies, Darlingtonia are native to Oregon and California and are known for their twisting stems and mustache-esque "fangs". Insects are lured by the haunting prisms of light that dance through translucent spots on the hood. As they feast on the nectar exuded by the plant, they become trapped and fall victim to the Darlingtonia's carnivorous nature. 

Darlingtonia is a conservation genus and we vehemently oppose unpermitted wild collection. All of our offerings are divisions from established growers who grew from seed.
